Lujong (Tibetan Yoga) & Meditation
Give yourself the gift of the present moment, intentional movement, and connection with the community.
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays
+ 3rd Saturday of the Month
9:30 AM - 11 AM Pacific
** Beginning in September, Sukhasiddhi Foundation will offer an IN PERSON Lujong class. Please see details below.
Join us every Tuesday, Thursday, and third Saturday for donation-based Lujong (Tibetan Yoga) followed by a quiet meditation, with instruction and guidance as needed.
Lujong helps invigorate our body and mind, and helps us to center and stabilize our being. Lujong has been designed over centuries to provide that strength from within, and to support physical, mental and emotional well-being.
The exercises in Lujong influence our entire system from the physical to the most subtle and profound. It is an enlivening practice, designed to uncoil the knots in our energy system and open the energy flows of the body. It is done in standing positions, so it needs no special equipment or mats, and can be either vigorous or gentle, depending on the needs of your body.

This series of fifteen exercises was developed by the Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche to help students enhance their physical health and to synchronize their body and mind. They have been adapted from the trulkor, the Tibetan yogic practices done by advanced practitioners in long retreat. The basic instruction during the exercises is to bring one’s awareness to the movement of the body or the physical sensations that arise in the body. This increases energy and pliancy. The wakefulness created by the exercises can bring a quality of meditation to ordinary activities throughout the day.
When practiced as a group all the exercises are done in unison and can take 30 - 55 minutes or so.
